We’ve joined forces with CPPE to run a two-strand event that combines EHC training for pharmacists with consultation skills open to all members of the pharmacy team. It has been specially designed to help the full pharmacy team prepare for March’s mandatory cervical cancer health campaign, as well as enhancing their skills and confidence in conducting consultations on potentially sensitive aspects of women’s health.
It will equip attendees with the key skills needed to approach women to have a difficult discussion. This could include discussions around routine sexual health enquiries, dealing with people presenting with requests for emergency hormonal contraception, and other potential scenarios which may require discretion.
The event is on Thursday 28th February at the Friends Meeting House in Bolton. It starts with registration and a buffet at 7pm. Training starts promptly at 7.30pm and runs until 9.30pm.
