Fully Funded HLP Health Champion and Leadership Training Available for Greater Manchester Pharmacies

The enrolment deadline is 31st March 2024

The Community Pharmacy Provider Board (CPPB) and LPN has secured funding for improving quality and support for Pharmacy teams across Greater Manchester. The funding was secured through the Workforce Collaborative through successful bids.

This funding has enabled the GM Healthcare Academy to offer fully funded places for HLP Leadership and Champion Training for Community Pharmacy teams in Greater Manchester.

FREE Health Champion Training

Virtual Outcomes Training for all Greater Manchester Contractors

Community Pharmacy Provider Board (CPPB) have purchased the Virtual Outcomes Licence on behalf of all Greater Manchester contractors for a further year. This means that all GM pharmacies have free access to this extensive online library of training resources. 

Access to VirtualOutcomes would normally cost £12 per month per pharmacy, so this equates to a saving of £144 per year for each contractor. 

We strongly encourage all pharmacies to log in and see what is available.

  • This is in final editing to include “Initiation”

  • A module per PGD is being written

  • There will be an overview module for the whole team to ensure they understand the service

  • All modules will be released in early January 2024

2.       Enter your pharmacy F Code

3.       Click on the training menu for the course you wish to view

4.       Click “Start Course”

5.       Complete the registration form

Maximising delivery of Nationally Commissioned Services - a webinar for the whole pharmacy team

We recently hosted a webinar to support you with services such as DMS, GP CPCS, SCS, and Hypertension Case Finding Service. The session was aimed at Pharmacists and Pharmacy team members to provide practical guidance and top tips to support the successful delivery of nationally commissioned services.

Pharmacy support with operational efficiency and service delivery

Community Pharmacy Provider Board (CPPB) has sourced limited funding from Greater Manchester Integrated Care (GM IC) to provide support to GM community pharmacies with improving efficiency within the pharmacy so that pharmacies are better able to incorporate the additional services which have been introduced as part of the Community Pharmacy Contractual Framework (CPCF).
