Community Pharmacy Provider Board (CPPB) have approved the purchase of the Virtual Outcomes Licence for the GM Healthcare Academy, to enable all Bolton and Greater Manchester LPC contractors free access to the extensive online library of training resources.

How to Access VirtualOutcomes Training

1.       Visit https://www.virtualoutcomes.co.uk/pharmacy-training/

2.       Enter your pharmacy F Code

3.       Click on the training menu for the course you wish to view

4.       Click “Start Course”

5.       Complete the registration form

Fully Funded HLP Health Champion and Leadership Training Available for Greater Manchester Pharmacies

The Community Pharmacy Provider Board (CPPB) and LPN has secured funding for improving quality and support for Pharmacy teams across Greater Manchester. The funding was secured through the Workforce Collaborative through successful bids.

This funding has enabled the GM Healthcare Academy to offer fully funded places for HLP Leadership and Champion Training for Community Pharmacy teams in Greater Manchester.

Greener Inhalers in Greater Manchester: Role of Community Pharmacy

A recording of this brief engagement session is now available to view on our YouTube channel. This webinar is for community pharmacies to demonstrate how they can support patients with greener inhalers. Presented by Louise Gatley (Bolton LPC), Alison Scowcroft (CHL) and Dr David McKelvey.

Vaccination Training

  • Safe intramuscular and subcutaneous injection techniques

  • Intranasal administration of vaccines

  • Recognition of anaphylaxis and other adverse reactions

  • Administration of adrenaline via an ampoule or any auto-injector
