PHE - Antimicrobial Stewardship Virtual Event

The Public Health England (PHE) English Surveillance Programme for Antimicrobial Utilisation and Resistance (ESPAUR) team will be hosting a virtual event on antimicrobial stewardship (AMS) on Tuesday 30th March 2021 at 7pm.
The 90 minute event (7-8.30pm), which will be held on Microsoft Teams, will focus on shared learning from community pharmacists who have been using the TARGET antibiotic checklist and other AMS tools in community pharmacy. The checklist and other AMS tools were highlighted as resource in the PHE Antimicrobial stewardship for community pharmacy e-learning and e-assessment, which all patient-facing pharmacy staff were required to complete as part of the AMS criterion* in the 2020/21 Pharmacy Quality Scheme (PQS) Part 2.
