Who is this event for?
Anyone who wants to understand the factors that might be behind lower COVID-19 vaccine uptake rates among people from African, Bangladeshi, Caribbean and Pakistani backgrounds.
What will you learn?
While lots of data exists about disparities in vaccine uptake among African, Bangladeshi, Caribbean and Pakistani backgrounds, there is less about why they exist. This vital new Healthwatch report, produced with Traverse and supported by The NHS Race and Health Observatory – entitled ‘VacciNation’ – aims to begin filling this gap and how the Government responds to these issues. The Vaccination report explores themes such as:
Practical barriers
Fake news / misinformation
Cultural mistrust
